TiM  dental surgery was founded in 1988. More than seven thousand patients have visited the surgery so far, with around five thousand check-ups and treatments being performed every year. The work and development processes in the surgery are based on teamwork, multi-disciplinary approach, constant technological and professional improvements, advancement of work organization and communication with patients, and finally, reliable partners.

Teamwork

Our surgery currently employs a team of five dentists with different areas of expertise; thus covering all areas of dentistry.

Professor Milan Jurisic, oral surgeon and implantologyst, was pioneer of implantology in Serbia twenty years ago and today is a founder of so called bone management procedures in Serbia. Twenty years of successful practice in implantology professor Jurišic incorporated, both as author and editor, in Oral implantology textbook for oral surgery specialists. Work of professor Jurisic in field of bone management was recognized by renowned dental factory Meisinger (Germany/USA) who engaged him as their instructor and lecturer across Europe.

Dr Tomislav Zivanovic, orthodontist, is president of Chamber of private dental practitioners of Serbia, oldest private dental practice society in Serbia. For more than twenty years dr Zivanovic has been working in this society in order to set up standards, improve quality of dental services and care for patients in Serbia.

Dr Darko Stamatovic, specialist of prosthodontics, gained his longstanding experience working for Military medical academy (renown institution for medical care in Serbia) and as a manager for dental materials production.

Dr Miketic and dr Uzelac are editors of Stomatolog magazine, the oldest dental magazine in Serbia. Stomatolog magazine is a symbol of quality in dentistry and cooperates with academics in Serbia and Europe providing the latest information for dental practitioners. We are constantly acquiring information from the latest lectures and exhibitions all over the world in the field of dentistry.

In order to get acquainted with the latest innovations and improvements in dentistry we have chosen to visit EAO - European Association for Osseointegration year meeting, IDS KÖLN – international dental show, ITI World year meeting, BASS – Balkan stomatology association year meeting, and many specialized courses.
Dr Miketic had oral presentation about latest principles in implants planning and dr Uzelac had poster presentation about latest aesthetic all ceramic crowns at BASS 2008 (Balkan Stomatological Society year meeting).

Our professional knowledge, and up to date equipment and dental materials are of the highest standards.
The surgery has two therapeutic chairs and a separate surgical block.
Surgical block is equipped with top-notch instruments for performing operations in the area of oral surgery, implant dentistry and bone management.
Following the example of the world’s most advanced endodontic therapeutic principles, the surgery uses instruments and materials for the most complex root canal treatments.
Today, patients primarily expect from dental restoration a reliable function and the highest aesthetic standards. Materials and equipment that we use have been chosen on the basis of many years of experience and strict selection to provide long-term results of high quality.
Orthodontics, i.e. correction of dental defects and jaw deformity, makes many patients happy, because the latest generation of materials and high optical quality do not interfere with patients’ everyday life, regardless of the kind of work they do. Special attention has been paid to the strictly defined hygienic protocol and program of sterilisation of instruments and accompanying materials.
